It’s no secret that the haunted attractions business is booming in our country, as more and more Americans embrace the possibility of spirits walking among us. With an incredible amount of attractions now offering ghost tours and a plethora of paranormal television shows investigating the presence of apparitions, it’s no surprise that more businesses are vying to present a haunting element. However, there are vast differences between our company and those that spring up for the Halloween/Harvest season.
Our tours are designed not only to frighten but to educate. We appreciate the value of the stories we’re sharing, but also seek to emphasize the actual history behind each of our haunting tales. Our tour guides are armed with the knowledge to effectively scare the wits out of you, but also to leave you with a deeper understanding of the surrounding area.
We offer tours seven days a week, and are constantly adding to our repertoire. Of course, we take a break for the winter season as we are located in Manhattan and our tours require walking outdoors. We prefer our guests to be frozen with fright, and not actually frozen solid. We offer each of our tours every day, and at least one of our tours can be considered family friendly.
We are not your typical paranormal experience that springs up for a season, and lessens the intensity of the tour with cheap thrills. We maintain our professional integrity by offering high-quality and educational tours that truly seek to enlighten and to scare. Each tour lasts approximately ninety minutes, and makes no less than 13 stops along the way.
Not only are our tours a frightening experience, but they’re also a great source of exercise as each tour is over a mile and a half in length. Currently, we offer three different tours; Greenwich Village, the East Village, and the West Village. We’re hoping to add some new tours for the next season, so keep a close eye on our website for tour details…if you dare.
