The air is getting warmer, the days are longer, and this can only mean one thing; it’s time for the new Haunted Manhattan season to begin! After a long break over the winter, we’re back and ready to show you Manhattan’s top haunted sights, all while educating you about the history of each stop. Be prepared for the city to come alive, when the moon comes out.
Our tour guides have taken the winter break to gear up and make this their best season yet. They’re all incredibly well-versed in the thirteen stops they’ll take you to, and each of them has a little something extra to make sure your first tour with Haunted Manhattan is unforgettable.
Join Professor Mortimer as he strolls through the familiar streets of Greenwich Village and weaves a tale of horror about each location. Allow him to show you the horrors that lurk beneath Washington Square Park, have a chat about Poe, and enjoy the tales of those who are no longer with us. Or are they?
Frankie the Bartender is a no nonsense kind of girl, and she also knows her trivia. Try to best her at her own game while she leads you through the best haunts of the East Village. She knows her stuff about where she’s taking you and she’ll spin a yarn that will make your blood run cold. Enjoy a tale about Harry Houdini and listen to the jazz stylings of some of the greats that have moved on.
Our West Village tour is led by seasoned New Yorker, The Concierge. Although his real name is unknown, you won’t need it as he leads you through the streets of the West Village with a knowledge gained from years of catering to people’s curiosities. Get your fix with a haunted hotel or a speakeasy owner that has yet to let go.
Each of our tours happen rain or shine, and they take place outside, so be sure to prepare for weather. Our stories of haunting are meant to make you shiver, but that only works if you’re not frozen to the bone to begin with. Comfortable footwear is also a must, as each of our tours include a great deal of walking, and the shortest tour is 1.75 miles long.
Enjoy your walk through the haunts hidden deep in Manhattan’s most popular neighborhoods, if you dare!
