In 1984, Columbia Pictures released a ghost-hunting movie that cost them $30 million to complete and featured some of the biggest names in comedy at the time. That film, over the course of its popularity, managed to profit nearly ten times its budget.
Now, thirty-two years later, Columbia Pictures is trying to make magic happen again with some of the biggest female comedians making headlines at the moment. The budget was a bit more spectacular, but this flick is hinting at the haunted history that Manhattan has managed to keep hidden over the years.
