- The Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing, New York – Located in Lake George in New York State, this classic Victorian hotel features appearances from some of the hotel’s first guests. In their finest dining room, a couple comes from the second floor to dine on a nightly basis.
- Gettysburg Hotel in Gettysburg, PA – Gettysburg’s haunted history is no secret due to its ties to the Civil War, and the Gettysburg Hotel is no different. Haunted by a civil war nurse called Rachel, guests of the Gettysburg Hotel have reported drawers being opened and closed and their clothing being removed.
- By the Side of the Road B&B in Harrisonburg, VA – Reports coming from this B&B don’t feature tales of a ghostly figures, but more revolve around the unexplained footfalls heard in the inn. One particular story involves guest commenting about the innkeepers’ late night activities, guests having heard footsteps up and down the hallways of the third floor in the wee hours of the morning. The innkeepers responded to this gentle chiding by saying they’d never left their room.
- The Battery Carriage House Inn in Charleston, SC – Known in South Carolina as being the most haunted inn, the Battery Carriage House is teeming with ghostly activity. There is a torso wandering the halls without his head, and the ghost of a young man who leapt from the roof to his demise in the original days of the home.
